Eleon is a splendid base for exploring Black Forest trails, where each step reveals stunning views. Breakfast is a treat, featuring delicious Black Forest ham and freshly baked bread rolls. Though the hotel's restaurant was closed, nearby Schlossberghütte serves up phenomenal local dishes like 'Maultaschen' and meatloaf, with a fantastic beer selection.
Though my night was interrupted by an itch fest, I couldn't find a reason to frown while enjoying Eleon's tranquil ambiance. The surroundings kept my spirits up, even when the room wasn't perfect.

The tranquil surroundings create a peaceful atmosphere.
During my visit, I was disheartened to find that the hotel's restaurant was closed due to the cook's illness. This was particularly disappointing as I had looked forward to trying their menu. I encountered an issue with the lift not functioning, which made navigating the property difficult. Despite these challenges, the beauty of the area uplifted my spirits somewhat.
